This is the record of an interesting year. I started out writing these vignettes because I believe in my heart God told me “write.” I’ve done so, but this was a year of transition. I started this process as a rich man… this is what happened during the year when God took all of that away. As we edited this volume’s issues, you could definitely see a change in tone, in perspective, in outlook. This is a pivotal point in the Solomon series and I hope that what we share will be a benefit to you and your life.

When Albin Erhart, long-time subscriber to Solomon Sunrise, offered to illustrate our fifth year’s issues, I gladly told him to go for it! The online delivery of these paintings simply didn’t do them justice, though. Later, Albin wanted to compile the paintings with their corresponding issues into a book for his gallery viewings and choices is the result. When the book arrived the other day, I showed it to my wife and she audibly gasped. “This is absolutely beautiful!” I don’t get that reaction out of her much so you know this cocktail-table quality book is special!
